| Our bass player, buying Pat's bass player's basses! In this photo, Jason Cornell, bass player for HeartBreaker is purchasing two of Roger Capps' basses. These were two of the actual basses Roger used on tour and one was used to record Shadows Of The Night. Roger is one of the founding members of Pat Benatar's original band line up. He wrote, toured and recorded with Pat for the first five years of her career. Roger also worked with Pat before she was signed with Chrysalis Records, in a band called Coxon's Army. Roger is credited with co-writing "Hell Is For Children" one of Pat's most famous recordings and My Clone Sleeps Alone, which HeartBreaker had performed a number of times with Roger. In January, 2005, Roger joined HeartBreaker on stage to play Love Is A Battlefield to a packed house at The Anaheim House of Blues in California. Roger wrote and recorded the bass line for Love Is A Battlefield, saying, "It was his favorite bass line ever," but left the band prior to ever playing it on tour. Roger played Love Is A Battlefied for the first time ever live on stage with HeartBreaker! You can see a photo of this momentus event on this page. Thank you, Roger. It was an honor!
